Learning Objectives: General Sessions (Monday to Friday)
Upon completion of this activity, attendees will have better knowledge of the following subject matters:
- Detail updates in imaging and new technologies as well as the implications for staging and monitoring in specific retinal diseases and conditions.
- Discuss abstract presentations on medical and surgical advances, as well as real-world findings that can improve retinal disease management.
- Assess the safety, efficacy, and use of new treatments in the management of age-related macular degeneration.
- Summarize the latest information about the management of macular degeneration, the use of drug delivery, gene therapy, as well as the treatment of geographic atrophy.
- Explore new insights on the management of diabetic eye disease.
- Examine current management strategies for retinal vascular diseases.
- Review the utility of multi-modal imaging and treatment advances in pediatric retinal disorders.
- Describe current management strategies for endophthalmitis, uveitis, and ocular oncology.
- Explore insights and practical considerations in the management of inherited retinal diseases, the use of gene and cell therapy, and optogenetic strategies for restoring vision.
- Assess techniques and technologies that can improve retinal surgery outcomes.
- Examine best practices and clinical pearls for managing challenging retinal disorder case presentations.
