Learning Objectives: General Sessions (Monday to Friday)

Upon completion of this activity, attendees will have better knowledge of the following subject matters:

  • Detail updates in imaging and new technologies as well as the implications for staging and monitoring in specific retinal diseases and conditions.
  • Discuss abstract presentations on medical and surgical advances, as well as real-world findings that can improve retinal disease management.
  • Assess the safety, efficacy, and use of new treatments in the management of age-related macular degeneration.
  • Summarize the latest information about the management of macular degeneration, the use of drug delivery, gene therapy, as well as the treatment of geographic atrophy.
  • Explore new insights on the management of diabetic eye disease.
  • Examine current management strategies for retinal vascular diseases.
  • Review the utility of multi-modal imaging and treatment advances in pediatric retinal disorders.
  • Describe current management strategies for endophthalmitis, uveitis, and ocular oncology.
  • Explore insights and practical considerations in the management of inherited retinal diseases, the use of gene and cell therapy, and optogenetic strategies for restoring vision.
  • Assess techniques and technologies that can improve retinal surgery outcomes.
  • Examine best practices and clinical pearls for managing challenging retinal disorder case presentations.

Accreditation: In support of improving patient care, Vindico Medical Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
