Designed by and for retina specialists, this program delivers in-depth updates on the latest advances in retinal care and their practical integration into everyday practice. Led by expert faculty, sessions address evolving challenges in diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management while exploring new technologies, therapies, and imaging modalities shaping the future of retina care.

A standout feature of the Retina Program is its highly anticipated abstract presentations, consistently recognized by attendees as a program highlight. These sessions showcase innovative research, real-world data, and emerging ideas that spark discussion and advance the field. In a relaxed, collaborative setting, faculty and attendees engage in meaningful dialogue through case-based learning, surgical strategy discussions, and interactive exchanges. Retina Program attendees may also attend sessions of interest within the Hawaiian Eye Comprehensive Ophthalmology Program.

Allied Health Program

This five-day program is designed for ophthalmic nurses, technicians and allied health professionals at the beginning through advanced levels, offering a practical, well-rounded educational experience tailored to today’s clinical environment. Through a combination of didactic and interactive general sessions held Monday through Friday, attendees learn from more than 20 expert faculty members and gain valuable perspective across every ophthalmic subspecialty, with content applicable to both office-based practices and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).

Sessions focus on enhancing patient care and the patient experience while exploring the latest clinical advances, emerging technologies, and real-world case applications. Led by clinical investigators, surgeons, imagers, and ophthalmic experts, the program encourages open dialogue, questions, and peer-to-peer learning in a collaborative and welcoming setting.

Administrator Program

Administrators and Office Managers are invited to the Administrator Program, which brings together practice leaders for a highly collaborative learning experience focused on navigating today’s complex ophthalmic business environment. Known for its exceptional level of peer-to-peer sharing, this program offers a unique opportunity to learn from fellow administrators who openly discuss what’s working, what isn’t, and how they are adapting to change. In an interactive and casual setting, attendees gain practical insights from experienced leaders who have successfully driven impact within their own practices.

Sessions focus on real-world challenges and forward-looking strategies, with expert faculty and industry leaders addressing key issues such as market forces, operational efficiency, reimbursement, compliance, risk management, leadership and technology.
