Target Audience
This program is specifically designed for ophthalmic nurses, technicians and allied health professionals.
Learning Objectives: General Sessions (Monday-Friday)
Sessions specific to nurses and allied health professionals will be held Monday – Friday. Benefit from didactic and interactive presentations given by more than 20 faculty members. Gain experienced perspective from all aspects of your practice as well as every ophthalmic subspecialty area.
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Discuss practice-based strategies to improve the patient experience.
- Examine the latest advances in the management of retinal disorders.
- Describe new advances in the management of pediatric retinal disorders.
- Develop an awareness of advances in refractive IOLs.
- Discuss ongoing research of glaucoma devices, pharmaceuticals, and procedures.
- Describe the latest advances in aesthetic ocular procedures.
- Examine real-world cases in neuro-ophthalmology.
ACCREDITATION: In support of improving patient care, Vindico Medical Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
CNE CREDIT DESIGNATION: Vindico Medical Education designates this activity for 17.5 nursing contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
IJCAHPO CREDIT: This program has been submitted to IJCAHPO for consideration of CE credit.
