Program summary:
The Program Committee welcomes the submission of original research in all areas of retina and vitreoretinal medicine. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by our committee and evaluated for originality, scientific quality, and overall interest. Top abstracts will be invited for oral or poster presentation during the Congress. Please review the complete submission guidelines below. Submission deadline:
February 8, 2027 (decision notification will be two weeks after submission deadline)
Topic areas can include:
- Vitreoretinal Surgery
- Retinal Vascular Disease
- Peripheral Retinal Disease
- Macular Disease
- Imaging and AI Applications
- Oncology
- Uveitis
- Inherited Retinal Disease
Guidelines for submission:
- Abstracts must be limited to 500 words.
- All accepted abstracts will be presented either from the podium or in poster format during the Congress.
- Submissions must fall within the educational scope of Retina World Congress.
- Abstracts must be submitted with the intent that the research described will be the same work presented – using the same title and content, if accepted.
- Primary Author must be registered for the meeting and attend in person to present their poster.
- Authors are required to disclose any relevant commercial relationships at the time of submission and during presentation.
- Invited RWC speakers are not eligible to present abstract podium presentations.
- Encore abstracts (previously presented at another meeting) are permitted.
